Is your child thinking about making Rutgers his or her college destination? Perhaps he or she is already a student at our New Brunswick Campus and you’d like to become more involved. In that case, you may have a few questions. We want you to stay current on what’s happening on campus and offer resources to help during the college experience.

University Commencement

247th Anniversary University Commencement

The university welcomes parents, family, and friends for the 247th Anniversary University Commencement, Sunday, May 19, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at High Point Solutions Stadium on the Busch Campus.

Separate convocations are also held by most of the individual Rutgers–New Brunswick schools and colleges at various times from Friday, May 17, through Monday, May 20. Learn more.

Parents Associations and Information

A great way to stay informed is through the Rutgers Parents Association. The association keeps you up to date with events and sends benefits and business discounts in the New Brunswick area right to your email address when you register online.

The association offers support and information to the parents and guardians of Douglass Residential College students. Monthly meetings are held for members to hear guest speakers and learn what’s happening on campus.

Admissions deadlines and topics are available online to address your questions and help you stay on track during the application process.
